Terms & Conditions
All products sold by 12Volt Car Security are covered under our Standard Warranty for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.
We warrant the product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for the warranty period. If the product fails during normal and proper use within the warranty period, we will replace the defective parts of the product, or the product itself, with new or reconditioned parts or products that are functionally equivalent or superior to those originally supplied.
Our Standard Warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, incorrect installations or modifications made to our products. Products that have been damaged, modified, or tampered with are not eligible for warranty coverage. All Warranty claims are handled on a case by case basis and are only applicable to the original purchaser of the product meaning it is not transferable or extendable. Your time, shop labor/fees and other expenses incurred by you are not covered by our warranty and will not be reimbursed.
To initiate a warranty claim, you must follow the following steps:
1. Email us at sales@12voltcarsecurity.com and indicate “Warranty Claim” on the subject line.
2.You must include your order number, full name and a detailed description of your issue. Depending on the case and to better assist you, we may require pictures and/or videos showing the issue or concern.
3. If we determine that your item needs to be replaced under warranty, we will proceed to mail you a replacement part/item and will provide you with tracking information.
4. The replacement product will carry the remaining warranty left from the original order. For example, if a warranty claim is submitted 4 months after the original purchase date, the replacement part/item will carry 2 months warranty.
